Fueled by a lifelong passion for creation and a desire to embark on a new chapter in his career, Patrick Penha founded Atelier Penha in 2020 in his garage. While experimenting with all kinds of microtopping, friends and family started to notice his creations and the first orders came in. Working closely with friends and family provided Patrick with an ideal opportunity to refine his techniques and make necessary improvements. What started as a hobby, quickly escalated into a full time occupation. Within a few months, Atelier Penha garnered attention from architects and interior design stores, marking the beginning of a thriving journey.
Due to a high demand Patrick had to move locations fairly quickly and went hand in hand with his son Sebastian, who put his finishing touches on the techniques.
In August 2023, Emmalee Penha also joined the company, focusing primarily on administration and marketing. The inclusion of this third family member has strengthened Atelier Penha as a true family business, a source of pride. With a shared eye for detail and a mutual commitment to providing the best possible service, Atelier Penha enjoys a significant advantage.
In the past, we experimented with a variety of beton ciré products, each with its own merits and drawbacks. However, recognizing the need to stand out in the market, we made a deliberate choice to work exclusively with the finest products available. Opting for the original Mortex® products was an obvious decision. Mortex, renowned for its distinctive structure, provides us with the opportunity to meticulously craft the most high-end tables that perfectly align with our customers' visions.
